The American brand presents the new selection of Ghurka Surplus Autumn/Winter 2017-18, a special collection of unique pieces for Men, Women, Travel Bags handbags – designed and designed by creative director Kathy Formby; handicrafts, signed Ghurka, which propose in a strong and personalized way all the vintage military heritage aesthetics typical of the US brand.
The Ghurka Surplus F/W 17-18 collection – the second ever brand – offers 25 unique models, with a price ranging from Euro 1,500 to around 2,200 Euros. Each model, after being selected by Kathy Formby from the vast Ghurka archive, was washed and hand-treated in Los Angeles laboratories and later aged in New York factories, enriched by patch, stencil, hand-painted and personalized by military inspiration, “army surplus”.
Every piece of Ghurka Surplus is a one-of-a-kind, fully-re-invented article, in the US, between Los Angeles and New York, and fully reflects vintage aesthetics that is deeply rooted in timeless luxury that is part of the brand’s DNA.
