Frankie Morello Maison cooperates with Bugatti to produce and distribute the Bugatti Junior childrenswear collection.
Frankie Morello Maison (FMM Srl), owner of the Frankie Morello and Aygey brands, is proud to announce its partnership with the luxury car brand Bugatti Automobiles, producer of the world’s most powerful, fastest, most exclusive and most luxurious production super sports car, for the creation of a total look dedicated to children from 2 to 16 years old.
FMM Srl, a company founded to promote Italian manufacturing and creative excellence, immediately achieved harmony with the French company founded by Ettore Bugatti more than 100 years ago thanks to shared values such as emphasis on quality, style and attention to detail.
The exclusive global agreement signed by the two companies, which has a term of six years, provides for the production and the sale of clothing, accessories and small leather collections dedicated to the young generation of discerning customers.
The collections will aim to masterfully translate the iconic intensity of one of the world’s most famous luxury brands. Materials, cuts, and very high quality finishings intended to satisfy the most demanding customers will blend the French style of the automotive marque with Italian manufacturing quality.
The first collection produced as a result of this partnership is the FW 17/18 collection, which was officially launched in January 2017 at the 84th Pitti Bimbo show.
Angela Ammaturo, Managing Director of FMM Srl: “We are honoured by the trust placed in us by such a prestigious company as Bugatti. We are confident that we will be able to develop a fashion project with a significant role in the fashion and luxury childrenswear market together.”
Dr Stefan Brungs, Member of the Board of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., added: “Corporation with FMM is of strategic importance for Bugatti and we are looking forward to launching this new Bugatti collection for children. FMM did a great job in integrating the brand’s DNA into each product with great attention to detail. ”
The Bugatti Junior Collection will be structured around themes expressing the typical characteristics of the prestigious car manufacturer’s timeless style. Classical design, fashion and a strictly Italian style will blend in perfectly with the French exclusiveness of Bugatti’s lifestyle. In particular, each item in the collection will express the style, colours and spirit of some of the unique car brand’s most prestigious models.
Named after Bugatti’s latest creation, the 1,500 PS Chiron, the printed jersey is made from nylon with metal effects and denim for a smart and sporty style expressed in blue night and electric blue as well is in the shades of grey mélange and carbon, recalling some of the main characteristics of Bugatti’s latest prestigious model. The logo becomes a pin on the t‐shirts, combined with prints representing the new icon of luxury.
This collection was named after Bugatti’s first super sports car in the brand’s modern era, the Veyron 16.4, which wrote automobile history in 2005. Embossed sweatshirt, two‐coloured jersey sweater, piqué polo shirt and dyed trousers with colours ranging from optical white to blue in the shades of Oxford blue and electric blue make up a collection boasting highly exclusive materials and fabric processing.
This collection, named after the 1,200 PS Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, the current holder of the world speed record for production vehicles, is characterised by bold and determined colours such as deep red, classical and electric blue and lead grey, underlining the dynamic spirit of the automobile brand’s models. Shimmering nylon for the extra lightweight down jackets, honeycomb or boiled wool jackets and jacquard cardigans are among the must‐haves in this collection together with sweaters enhanced by prints of historic Bugatti models.
The Vitesse collection, which aims to underline the speed and dynamism of the world’s fastest and most powerful production roadster, the 1,200 PS Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, is characterised by the presence of acid yellow as a link between the calm colours of grey, lead and military green. Two‐tone sweatshirts bearing the famous “macaron” emblem, sweaters with all‐over prints, suede leather jackets and ripstop down jackets round off the collection.
This collection refers to the majestic Bugatti Type 41 Royale, one of the historic brand’s iconic models from the 1920s and 1930s. Its convincing elegance and exclusive materials are intended for special occasions. Smooth velvet jackets, houndstooth gilets and shirts with a plissé front are conceived in colours ranging from light grey to optical white and blue, underlining the timeless elegance of this collection.
